Refund Policy
30 days, one email, and no one trying to talk you out of it. Here's how a refund works and the few cases that work differently.
last updated October 15, 2026
0130 days, full fee back
Email us at any point in the 30 days after your class's first live session and we’ll refund the whole fee. You don’t need to give a reason, and nobody will call to change your mind.
One email is enough. We’d rather give the money back than keep it from someone the course didn’t suit.
02How to ask, and what happens next
Email [email protected] from the address you enrolled with and tell us which course it’s for. If you’re willing to say what didn’t work, we’d like to hear it, because it helps the next class.
- We confirm we’ve received your email within one business day.
- Within three business days we approve the refund and instruct our payment provider.
- The money goes back to the card or account you paid with. Banks usually take another five to ten business days to show it.
03After the window closes
Once the 30 days are up, refunds are no longer automatic, because by then the class is well under way and the instructor’s time has been committed.
Still, if something serious happens, such as illness, a family emergency or a course that really wasn’t what we described, email us anyway. We usually offer a credit toward a later class, and we won’t hide behind this paragraph to avoid being fair.
04If we postpone or cancel
- If we cancel a class, you get a full refund, however long ago you paid.
- If we postpone a class, you can take the new dates, switch to a different course at the same price, or get a full refund.
- If we move a single session, we reschedule it. On its own, that isn’t grounds for a refund.
05Smaller details
- Refunds are paid in US dollars to the original payment method. We can’t control exchange rates or your bank’s fees.
- If your employer paid, the refund goes back to your employer.
- After a refund, your access to recordings, materials and the class chat ends. Code you wrote in your own repository stays yours.
- You can have one refunded enrollment per course. You’re welcome to enroll again later, but the window doesn’t start over.
- Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under the consumer protection laws that apply to you.
